So I'm (28F) working in a high-stress environment, deadlines piling up, and constant pressure from the boss. Recently, my boss decided to introduce this 'innovative stress management program' as a solution.

It involves mandatory group mindfulness sessions during lunch breaks, meditation breaks every hour, and weekly team-building exercises. Frankly, it feels like a waste of time.

I prefer dealing with stress my own way, like taking short walks or listening to music. But now, the boss is pushing everyone to participate, making it part of our performance evaluations.

I find these sessions disruptive and ineffective for me. Last week, during a mindfulness session, I quietly left to make an urgent call related to a project, and my boss called me out for 'not committing to the program.' I explained the situation, but they were insistent that I prioritize the session.

This rigid enforcement has made me even more stressed. I feel suffocated by these forced activities and believe they aren't helping me manage my stress effectively.
