Graphic Designer Renders Disney Characters And 'Interacts' With Them In Real Life
"Come with me and you'll be in a world full of imagination."
Disney fans have always loved the idea of stepping into the same world as their favorite characters, but one Italian artist takes that fantasy a lot further.
Luigi Kemo Volo, a graphic designer and illustrator from Naples, creates photo renders that place Disney characters into real-life scenes, making it look like they are actually hanging out with him. The results are playful, polished, and packed with nostalgia, and they started with a very personal source of inspiration.
His nephew helped spark the idea, and Volo has since turned that family connection into hundreds of imaginative images. Read on.

The artist didn't expect that people would respond so positively to his work. He says he enjoys it when people message him that their kids are fond of his work.
Although it's sometimes difficult to think outside the box, Volo insists that he loves the work that he shares with the world. He loves creating these imaginative images, especially planning them, improving them, and drawing the correct expressions on the characters' faces!
Volo only started sharing his work in 2016 and has since amassed at least 100,000 followers on his Instagram account. His loving fan base continues to grow and support him.
Despite this growing following, Volo goes back to the origins of his creations: his nephew. The art he creates is meant to show his nephew that Volo has a friendship with the kid's favorite characters!
His nephew's amazement, paired with his friends' encouragement, spurred the artist to share his work on Instagram. Thanks to them, we can share in the joy and nostalgia.
