Disney villains are usually scary in a kid-friendly way, but artist Shawn Coss took that idea much further. He reimagined some of the most recognizable characters from Disney movies as truly unsettling horror versions of themselves.

The result is a collection that keeps the original characters recognizable while making them look far more disturbing than anything seen on screen. From Ursula to Maleficent, each design pushes these villains into darker territory.

1. Ursula

This reimagined image of Ursula depicts her as a darker villain with a skeletonized face.

This version is definitely much creepier compared to the original portrayal of the villain. I would love to see this interpretation in a real-life horror movie.

This reimagined image of the Cinderella sisters reveals what these ladies might look like on the inside. They were evil sisters with beauty, but this depiction shows them in a different light.

A lion may not seem villainous to us, but this is definitely a very artistic image of him, and we love it for that.

I was waiting for Cruella to appear on this list, and I am not disappointed. The malevolence emanating from this image of her definitely aligns with her character.
