Artist Draws Disney Princesses Wearing Wonderful Luxury Dresses with Color Patterns That We Are Not Used to Seeing
"I use colors that Disney has overlooked, like green, orange, and red."
Italian illustrator LadyAmber has spent more than 12 years sharing her art online, and her Disney princess series is the kind of work that instantly stands out. Her latest collection gives familiar heroines a fresh twist with luxury gowns, bold patterns, and colors Disney fans do not usually see.
She has also drawn inspiration from fairies, the Venetian carnival, and fantasy fashion, and all of that shows up in these elegant designs. The result is a set of princess looks that feel both recognizable and completely new.
Here are some of her most striking creations, and the color choices may surprise you.

LadyAmber said she wanted to create a new gown for each Disney heroine while keeping the same period, culture, and personality in mind. She also experimented with new hairstyles for some of the most recognizable princesses and changed the official color schemes to make the designs feel fresh.
She used colors Disney has overlooked, like green, orange, and red, while still trying to keep each character recognizable.
