Some interesting and wild concepts didn't make it to the final cut of the films.

Marvel movies may feel seamless on screen, but a lot of the ideas behind them never make it to the final cut. From alternate villains to missing team-ups, the MCU has left behind plenty of wild storylines.

Some of those changes came from timing, casting, or the need to keep the larger universe consistent. Others were simply too complicated, too long, or too risky for the finished film.

Although it's disappointing that some storylines were cut, the studio has still done an amazing job with the films in the MCU. We can't wait to see what Marvel has in store for us now that they're in Phase 4!

The MCU still has plenty of alternate paths hiding in the background.
