Magic Kingdom’s Frozen holiday show is back, and non party guests still get the first castle lighting
Disney World says Frozen Holiday Surprise returns to Magic Kingdom on Nov. 8, with nightly 6:15 p.m. shows and an extra 8:15 p.m. run on party nights.
Magic Kingdom’s Christmas lineup is adding back one of its newer nighttime traditions. Disney has confirmed when Frozen Holiday Surprise returns, and the schedule matters if you are deciding between a regular park day and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
What Disney confirmed
Frozen Holiday Surprise will return to Magic Kingdom on November 8, 2026. The nighttime presentation takes place on the Cinderella Castle forecourt stage, where Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and their friends gather for a holiday themed castle transformation.
Disney said the show will be performed nightly at 6:15 p.m. starting November 8. On nights when Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is held, there will also be a second performance at 8:15 p.m.
That later showing is scheduled 15 minutes before Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade begins at 8:30 p.m. For party guests, that creates a tight back to back stretch between two of Magic Kingdom’s holiday entertainment offerings.
The November 8 return also lines up with the opening night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the separately ticketed seasonal event at the park.

Why this matters for holiday visitors
The biggest practical detail is who gets access to what. Guests visiting Magic Kingdom during regular operating hours can watch the 6:15 p.m. performance without buying a ticket to the Christmas party. The 8:15 p.m. performance, however, is only scheduled on party nights, so visitors on non party evenings should plan around the earlier time.
Frozen Holiday Surprise debuted in 2023 and has returned in later holiday seasons. Instead of working only as a character stage show, it also uses colorful projections to give Cinderella Castle a festive look, making the castle itself a major part of the experience.
Fans of Frozen will also see Anna and Elsa in the winter outfits featured in Olaf’s Frozen Adventure from 2017. The show’s mix of familiar characters, holiday music, and nighttime visuals has helped it become part of Magic Kingdom’s annual Christmas entertainment lineup.
Disney notes that entertainment times can change, so guests should check the official park calendar or the My Disney Experience app before their visit.
