It seems that these days, no matter what you do, it's never enough for some people. You could think of the most charitable thing you could possibly do without going broke, and it would still be deemed inefficient by someone, somewhere.
The anonymity that the internet offers really brings out the worst in people; half of the things said online would never be repeated in real life. In the non-virtual world, people could hold you responsible for the things you say, and most of the cowards who spread hate online simply do not have the courage to put themselves in that situation.
They say that beggars can't be choosers, but some people apparently never got the memo. Many kind-hearted individuals are offering free things online out of the kindness of their hearts, but that's still not enough for some people, and they become extremely offended when someone calls them out on their nonsense.

Apparently, offering something for free is not enough anymore; you have to sweeten the deal to get people to accept your free stuff. There will always be entitled people out there who think the world owes them things.
