15+ Celebrity Ex-Couples Who Still Had to Work Together After Breaking Up
It must have been awkward.
Have you ever broken up with someone and found yourself running into them literally everywhere you go? Sometimes, for some unknown reason caused by the universe, the person you avoid the most may appear right where you are, as if it's playing a cruel joke on you.
Almost everyone (okay, let's just assume) has been through a breakup at least once in their life, and most of the time, it's not always a peaceful and healthy experience. It's bad enough to run into your ex, but it's definitely worse when you know that you will inevitably see them in the days to come—especially when you are working in the same office or on the same project.
That's definitely the case for many of Hollywood's ex-couples. We have heard of actors jumping from relationship to relationship, but there are some couples who have had seemingly stable relationships, and the Internet was kind of shook when they announced their breakup.
Things get even more complicated when these couples come back together for another project; after all, their breakup can't just get them out of the contract, can it?
It's not uncommon for actors to fall in love while working on a show or film and then start dating in real life. But when they break up amidst their contract and still have to work together for a sequel or follow-up project, that's when things get a little awkward.
It's admirable how they maintain a civil and professional relationship, though we may never really know what goes on behind the scenes. Just take a look at this list of celebrity couples who still had to work together after breaking it off:
