"Nice Guy" Gets Aggressive When Woman on Facebook Marketplace Refuses to Give Him Her Home Address
The man became increasingly aggressive when the woman explained that she wasn't comfortable giving her address to a stranger.
We live in a world where, as women, we often feel unsafe. Since the beginning of time, women have been victimized by men, and for that reason, we tend to keep our defenses up much of the time.
Of course, that doesn't mean that all men are dangerous; it just means that, sadly, history has taught us to exercise caution when interacting with men we don't know.
Thankfully, most of the time, our fears are unjustified. That is, of course, until they are justified!
A recent exchange between a woman selling an iPhone on Facebook Marketplace and a man who insisted on coming to her house to collect it personally has gone viral for all the wrong reasons. The man was pushy, to say the least.
In the lengthy discussion shared on Twitter by @incelReplies, the man started by asking about the phone in question and suggesting they meet up at a local Starbucks. That seemed reasonable enough until he offered to come to her house instead and then wouldn't take no for an answer.

Twitter/incelRepliesThe conversation began innocently enough.
Twitter/incelRepliesBut things started to go awry when the man asked for the woman's address.
Twitter/incelReplies
He said women were "silly" about men.
Twitter/incelReplies
He then went on to say he was "taking the opportunity to educate women."
Twitter/incelReplies
He proceeded to ask if the woman had a boyfriend and said she was "cute."
Twitter/incelReplies
Disturbingly, he continued, "Let me come over, and you'll see I won't rape you."
Twitter/incelReplies
He said it "actually very rarely happens, but women lie."
Twitter/incelReplies
From there, it got even more disturbing.
Twitter/incelReplies
The man ended the message by saying, "Have a good night, trash!"
Twitter/incelReplies
Here's how people reacted.
"Rape."
It would appear so.
Scary!
Twitter/pinkascii
"A strong feeling."
Twitter/Egg-prince
Definitely "something a rapist would say."

What's your take on this woman's situation? Do you think the woman overreacted, or was she entirely justified in her fear?
It's heartbreaking that women are somewhat programmed to fear men these days. But the truth is, that wouldn't be the case if there weren't any justification for that fear.
Of course, women are not always innocent either. Some women can absolutely be emotionally abusive or even violent toward men, and that is completely unacceptable.
However, women do tend to be the victims in most cases of family violence and rape. In this scenario, the man is the perfect example of what women deal with so often in everyday life.
Whether it be inappropriate language, subtle innuendo, or, on a more serious level, unwanted physical contact, women put up with it all and more. And the worst part is that we have been conditioned to expect it!
