These 50 People Use Humor and Intelligence to Fight Patriarchy and Sexism
Sexism is still present.
"Gender equality is something we should work on." This statement hasn't changed in more than a century.
Don't you think it should have evolved to something like, "We've created a society where all people are equal" by now? There is no doubt that many things have improved, but it is also clear that there is much more work to be done.
So, when will we finally be able to say that we have succeeded in creating a society that is great for everyone, regardless of their gender, race, sexual preferences, or political views? One of the signs that we've reached that level is not needing to clarify "hard no" and "soft no."
What does that mean? No is always no. The idea that someone doesn't understand that is infuriating.
Do you need an interpreter to communicate with women, or are you just pretending to be clueless? People on the Facebook page "Humans of Patriarchy" are sharing testimonies, memes, and posts that expose the ugly side of today's society.
And it appears to be working — as of this publication, the online project has over 415K followers. It is a good start to changing that initial statement from the beginning.
Although the very fact that we are still talking about a "start" is quite frustrating.

These posts don’t paint a pretty picture of the world we live in, do they? The good news is that it can change.
But it is up to us. Our support should be more than just words.
We’ve come a long way, but we need that final push to cross the finish line.
