[AITA] Woman's Best Friend Freeloads On Her Boyfriend Then Dumps Him After Becoming A Lawyer

She dumped him because she deserves a "real man," not someone who helped her achieve her goals and dreams.

Some friendships look solid for years, until money, loyalty, and a hard-earned degree pull them apart. In this story, one woman watched her best friend rise from minimum-wage retail work to becoming a lawyer, with a factory worker boyfriend helping pay the bills and keep the household running along the way.

What should have been a happy ending turned bitter when the newly minted lawyer dumped the man who supported her through school. The twist is that he is still stuck with the loans he took out to help her get there, while she has no intention of helping him repay them.

Now the internet is weighing in on whether this was ambition, betrayal, or both. Read on.

This was the saddest post I've read today, and I thought I'd share it with you all. It's unfair for the guy who spent so much of his time and money on a girl who didn't value him in the first place.

He didn't want her to give up on her dreams of becoming a lawyer, so no matter how hard things became, he was determined to help her get there.

Since the guy took out loans to help her achieve her dreams, he's on the hook for repaying them. The woman he dated, who is now a lawyer because of him, has no intention of helping him repay the loans.

Although the guy has read all the comments and is thankful for all the support he's received, he's still heartbroken and deeply hurt. We can't blame him.

Anyone in his position would probably feel the same way, and it's just sad that such women exist. They're like vultures or vampires, who care for no one but themselves.

It's her loss because she dumped the only person who loved and cared for her. Knowing the kind of person she is, it's highly unlikely that she'll ever feel deeply loved again.
