30+ Pictures Of Tweets Where People Roasted The Most Absurd Movie Clichés, And They’re Both Funny And True
They nailed every single one of these clichés. Don't you love to see it?
It's not surprising that television programs and movies depict much more emotional, dramatic, and, for the most part, idealized forms of the real world. Sometimes, we tend to turn to the screen in order to escape from our boring and exhausting lives, but not to relive them just the way they are.
A criminal investigator movie wouldn’t be much fun if all we had to watch was the main character engaging in training while preparing and filing paperwork. However, when we set aside the willing suspension of disbelief regarding some far-fetched situations, there are certain figures of speech in television and movies that can get under your skin.
Well, the author Tom Cox has taken to Twitter to revive the "Hello, I am..." meme, which has appeared in various threads since around 2019. The meme is very simple; it begins with "Hello, I am..." and then allows the character to talk to the first individual about the annoyingly unsurprising aspect of themselves.
This is similar to when your partner ridicules you during a fight, using a shrill voice as if that is how you really talk. At any rate, many tweeps have been playing around with this one, so moving right along, here are the most entertaining, funny, and insightful comments from the thread.

Before now, I had never really given much thought to all these movie clichés. As I read through these memes, I discovered that they are all so true.
Nevertheless, I guess they all need a little extra spice for a movie to be entertaining enough for the audience to watch without feeling bored.
