TikToker Gets Back At Spoiled Gentrifiers Who Harassed Grandpa Late At Night

"I guarantee you this type of thing won’t happen again."

A 28-year-old TikToker says she got fed up with the kind of late-night harassment that turns one apartment building into a nonstop problem. Her target was an elderly grandpa who was getting disturbed so badly that his sleep, and even his dialysis routine, got thrown off.

In the videos, she claims the issue started with two “spoiled” new residents who would ring doorbells at night and then act like it was no big deal.

Now the footage shows one woman acting scared and refusing to even look toward his door, and it raises the question everyone in the building is asking.

@zdivesin These idiots rang my 82 year old grandfathers bell at almost 12 am. They woke him up and now he’s not rested up for his morning dialysis treatment. This occurred in East Harlem. #MakeASplash #MadewithKAContest #PerfectPrideMovement #nycgentrification #gentrificationisreal ♬ Oh No - Kreepa

The moment grandpa’s dialysis schedule got disrupted is when this stopped being petty and started feeling dangerous.

This also feels like the neighbor whose cat destroyed a rug, then wanted pet-sitting pay.

That’s when people online started piling in, telling @Zdivesin to report it to management after the doorbell drama.

In the follow-up, she lays out that management, the super, and “everybody’s aware,” while she and her grandfather’s situation waits to be handled.

In a follow-up video, @Zdivesin says:

“So just a quick update: we still haven’t figured out exactly where these two b***es live, but we will find out soon. Management is aware, everybody’s aware of it, and the super is aware. We don’t live with my grandfather, and we work, so we’re not able to get there right away to nip this s*** in the bud.”

In the TikToker's most recent post, she shared new camera footage of a woman who seemed very scared and would not look in the direction of her grandfather's door.

“Not too much talking leading up to the aftermath, but just know that they are afraid to even look at his door now. SN: Y’all really be on here moving loud and incriminating yourselves, smh. Not I.”

Then her newest camera clip shows the woman flinching near his door, like she finally realized actions have consequences.

The people who lived in the area before wealthier individuals moved in and altered the social atmosphere can rightfully feel resentful toward these new residents, as they usually do not consider the effects their presence has on the original inhabitants. This animosity is especially warranted because these "gentrifiers" are not even the legal owners of the property.

The elderly grandfather in this example was disturbed in his sleep, negatively affecting his dialysis treatment because of this, further proving the point. We hope that the problem has been addressed, as it is unacceptable for someone to be ringing doorbells at night.

It is important to be respectful of the person inside, as you never know what kind of situation they are facing. This kind of activity could lead to a lease violation and even eviction, which is why it is best to avoid it.

Now everyone’s wondering if the doorbell pranksters will ever stop, or if the building will finally shut it down.
