Studio Ghibli has released over twenty films over the last 30+ years. Back in 2016, Hayao Miyazaki returned from retirement to work on Studio Ghibli’s next release, How Do You Live?

Unfortunately, due to Miyazaki’s age and the global shutdown in 2020 caused by the pandemic, this film currently has no officially planned release date. However, there are hopes that it will be released by 2023 or 2024.
