Animator Josh Sachs, also known as "Baldstache," is one such artist, and he is determined to do precisely that and more. His comics range from straightforward, simple, and borderline guiltless daily circumstances to weird, ridiculous, and startling twists, sprinkled with a touch of surrealism.
Josh says that he grew up "reading the comics section of The Washington Post every morning before school." When Josh was in second grade, he began creating his own characters and fitting them into little storylines that he most likely borrowed from Garfield.
He also had a "phase of drawing the entire Simpsons family naked, but my therapist tells me that is totally normal." Going through Josh’s comics, one might feel that they are simply conventional jokes, and the artist pushes the absurdity of the circumstances to the limit in his work.
