Disney World's $3 Mickey Plates Have a Catch. Here Is How to Get All Four

Walt Disney World has introduced a new souvenir that is drawing plenty of attention online: Mickey shaped plates guests can add to certain quick service meals. They are available now, but only inside the parks, and only as a meal add on.

The new plates come in four versions, with a different design for each Walt Disney World theme park: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Disney says they are exclusive to the parks, which means guests cannot simply buy them online.

The price is part of what has made them stand out. Each plate costs $3, but there is an important limitation. The plate is not sold on its own. It can only be added to a quick service meal at select restaurants. That applies whether you are buying an adult meal or a kids' meal, which also means a kids' meal is the lowest cost way to pick up all four designs.

For guests using mobile order, the plate is added during meal customization. After selecting a meal, look for the option to add a collectible plate, or choose "no thanks" if you do not want one. The plates are available now while supplies last, and stock can come and go.

Where to order them

The available locations depend on which park you are visiting.

At Magic Kingdom, the participating restaurants are Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café and Pinocchio Village Haus.

At EPCOT, guests can find the plate add on at Connections Eatery and Sunshine Seasons.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, the listed spots are Backlot Express, Rosie's All American Café, and Catalina Eddie's.

At Disney's Animal Kingdom, the participating restaurants are Flame Tree Barbecue and Pizzafari.

For anyone hoping to collect the full set, the key changes are simple: the plates are already on sale, they cost $3 each, and they are only available with a qualifying quick service meal at those select in park locations.
