Giant Human Meatball Photo Causes An Avalanche Of Memes On Twitter
How does one even think of something like this?
Twitter can turn even the strangest idea into a full-blown meme storm, and this one came with a very unsettling visual. A user named Erika took a wildly specific thought experiment and turned it into a giant human meatball, complete with a size comparison that made the whole thing even more memorable.
The joke was simple enough, if every person on Earth were blended together, the result would still fit in a surprisingly small space, smaller than most people would guess. That image of humanity squeezed into Central Park was enough to spark instant reactions, and Twitter did what Twitter does best.
Now the meatball is taking on a life of its own, and the replies are almost as funny as the original post. Read on.
Here is Erika's depiction of the giant human meatball which contains every living human being on Earth.
@_AstroErikaThis is where the jokes started rolling in.
Hey, who told you that you could take a picture of me? Delete this now!
@_AstroErikaThis comment is the one that made me laugh the most. Probably Erika, as she admires her creation.
@caitiedelaney
Weirdly enough, not everyone agrees to being mashed into this giant meatball.
@lionel_trolling
I guess he's the one taking the picture then.
All hail the morb! I relate to the first reply, though; I don't think that's something I had to see today. Or ever, really.
@Fizzzycat
Some people were clearly not on board with the whole concept.

I don't think anyone really likes the fact that they're in this photo. I can only assume this is similar to how SPAM is actually made.
@Jrbacon50
The perfect side dish for our savory meatball of nightmares. Does anyone know why this meal is packaged in a sphere?
@BalsaMaster
Who knew that putting a cute face on something so horrible could actually make it look acceptable?
@Pizza__Alert
The replies kept getting more ridiculous from there.
When you think about it, it probably wouldn't even take many humans to eat this monstrosity if given enough time. A couple of thousand people would go through this baby real quick.
@LeonardoJMller1
The scientists of Twitter had to weigh in on this and point out all of the logical fallacies. I guess there's no giant human meatball after all.
@Doc_Wolverine
That was probably the most horrific thing I've seen in a while, but it's also fun to know that we could all fit inside a park. You'd think 7 billion people would take up a larger space, but I guess not.
We hope no one goes out and makes a movie based on this because I don't think I want to see this meatball ever again.
May this meatball stay firmly in the realm of memes.
