Woman Shares How She's Being Trolled In A Viral Video Because Her Husband Is More Attractive and Hotter Than Her

“When a man calls himself average, he is being humble or funny, but when a woman does it, is she fishing for compliments?”

A 29-year-old British woman just got dragged online for the most petty reason imaginable, her husband is “hotter” than her. Hazel McBride took to TikTok to show what happens when strangers decide your relationship is a public debate, not a private thing.

The chaos kicked off after a Canadian influencer posted a video of her toned husband, and the comments immediately went mean, telling him he’d need a “fat fetish” to be with her. Hazel later shared her own clip, looking at her husband without makeup or glasses, and the same type of trolls showed up, asking when they’d “see insanely hot men with average-looking women.”

And somehow, the internet still managed to make it messier than it needed to be.

That “insanely hot men with average-looking women” line hits hard because Hazel is literally showing her real-life face-to-face moment with her husband, not some edited photo.

In one of the clips, she looks at her husband without wearing makeup or glasses. “When are we going to see insanely hot men with average-looking women?” says the voiceover.

The video was created after a Canadian influencer, who has a toned husband, published a video of him and was told that he needed to develop a "fat fetish" to be with her. However, Hazel is preventing the trolls from getting to her.

She also mentions that other people have told her she is attractive, despite the fact that they had previously criticized her

Then it gets uglier, because the Canadian influencer’s comment section set the tone, with people insisting the relationship had to be based on something “fetish” related.

This is similar to the dilemma of whether to tell a best friend about concerns with her partner.

As the comments poured in, people questioned whether they made Hazel feel self-conscious. "Nope!" she replied, as she feels confident in their union and in herself.

Someone cynically remarked that he is literally doing charitable work by being with her. However, she received support in the comments.

Hazel clapped back in the comments too, saying she feels confident in their union, even when someone joked that he’s doing “charitable work” by being with her.

A commenter made the observation that

"When a man calls himself average, he is being humble or funny, but when a woman does it, is she fishing for compliments?"

The most recent video is an example of a TikTok trend in which less glamorous women use the platform to express their pride in their more attractive boyfriends.

It's critical to keep in mind that everyone is special and unique in their own way, and that we should make an effort to treat everyone with respect and kindness, regardless of how they may appear.
