Owner Claps Back At A Karen Who Refuses To Be Served By A Trans Employee

The owner firmly defended the rights of his employee.

Despite laws protecting individuals who are part of the LGBTQ+ community, many still experience some level of discrimination or harassment from those who are uncomfortable with them. This is the sad reality that nonconforming individuals face, even in workplaces that provide equal opportunities.

This is exactly what a trans server experienced in a Texas steakhouse. However, what is remarkable about the story we are examining today is that the management stood up for their trans employee.

It all unfolded on Facebook. A steakhouse owner took issue with a comment made by a customer they had served previously.

She complained that a "boy" who wore makeup, nail polish, and a shiny choker was the reason her husband became "unglued."

The customer did not specify why her husband had a meltdown over being served by a trans staff member. However, what is unreasonable is that she demanded the steakhouse revise its policies for the sake of her fragile spouse.

The owner responded with a clap-back to the customer's rude comments. He stood firm in support of his employees' rights and resolutely stated that transphobes should just eat at home.

The clap-back impressed both Facebook and Reddit users. An overwhelming number of praises and reviews were posted as they were impressed with the owner's response.

Nobody has the right to discriminate against anyone, whether they're LGBTQ+ or not.

Even if it's a subtle form of discrimination, the behavior is still unacceptable. Thank goodness we have people like the steakhouse owner who are willing to defend the rights of their transgender employees.

It's also encouraging that many people on Reddit supported the boss's actions. After seeing the owner's comment, a lot of people left positive reviews on the steakhouse's Facebook page.

When you look at the post, you'll see that the management takes good care of their employees. They're willing to temporarily close shop to accommodate the emergencies of their staff.

We hope that many bosses are like this steakhouse owner. This way, more LGBTQ+ individuals will have a safe working environment.
