Woman Gives A Befitting Reply To Her Husband, Who Inappropriately Introduced Her To His Co-Workers As A Housewife
Being a housewife and a working-class woman is never easy.
Everyone knows that it’s not easy to combine the roles of being a housewife and working as well. You get up in the morning, attend to your morning chores, dress up, and head to work.
Only to return from work and find that there’s still work for you to do at home. It’s never easy, and the least your partner can do is acknowledge you instead of ranting to his friends.
This is exactly what a man did in today’s story, shared by a Redditor named u/Sadie3586478 to the AITA subreddit community. It happened that her husband invited his new colleagues at work for dinner, only for him to introduce the OP as "Mrs. Smith, the housewife."
Seriously? Who introduces someone as a housewife?
Well, the OP laughed hysterically and fired right back at him by saying, "No, honey, I work full-time, and YES, I still act like a housewife when I'm home because you simply can't be bothered to help." You can only imagine his facial expression as he tried to liven up the environment and change the topic.
As you can already tell, the dinner went very awkwardly. Later on, the OP’s husband had the audacity to get mad at her because she corrected his poor introduction. Well, here’s the full story below.

Marriage is supposed to be between two people who love each other and help each other out. Even if the OP were a full-time housewife, her husband had no right to belittle her in front of his colleagues.
What are your thoughts about this story? Do you think the OP took the right step?
