Women have spent decades being told to stay alert, stay cautious, and stay small just to avoid sexual assault. That frustration sits at the center of this story, and it is hard to ignore why so many women are angry about it.
The article points to a stark difference in how men and women move through the world, especially when it comes to daily safety habits. One side rarely thinks about being attacked, while the other side is constantly scanning for danger.
