You are lucky if your mother-in-law absolutely adores you. It’s not a rare occurrence, but it’s not too common either. 

In reality, while your mother-in-law can become one of your greatest friends, she can also become your greatest enemy. Not only is it bad because, of course, you’d want your spouse’s family to like you, but they can be pretty nasty enemies. 

That’s why a lot of people would go to the moon and back to please their mothers-in-law. It’s like everybody just knows not to be on their bad side. 

While some mothers-in-law will just ignore you or keep pretending that you’re not the person their child married, some mothers-in-law will go to great lengths to make their feelings known. Some will do it through words, but others will resort to action, and we think that’s worse. 

In Reddit user puddle_19’s case, it’s the latter, and she probably got the worst of cases. Instead of just telling her that she doesn’t approve of her or giving her the good old death glare, her mother-in-law chose to break into their house. 

The incident didn’t just happen once, oh no. According to the post, the mother-in-law had already done it previously.

We're really wondering just how much this mother-in-law hates her daughter-in-law that she'd ransack the home that her child has built with the person they love and destroy it. Couldn't she just be happy that her child is happy with someone they love?

Having a mother-in-law like this is a freaking nightmare. It's the kind of nightmare you'd only wish upon your worst enemies.

Seriously though, we're hoping she never bothers the couple again. She doesn't deserve to be in her child's life if all she's going to do is mess it up and make it miserable for them.
