A Viral TikTok Shows Monster Mother-in-Law Trying to Ruin Her Son’s Wedding Ceremony
“You’re not going to say my son has flaws!”
As we all know, we can choose our friends, and we can choose whom we marry, but we can’t choose our family. Maybe it’s a good thing because, based on how some people choose friends and partners, it’s hard to believe they would have better luck choosing parents.
But let’s get back to the story at hand. TikToker Sarah Ragsdale shared a video of her sister’s wedding ceremony that was shocking and disturbing on so many levels to everyone who has seen it.
First, the video shows her sister Anna exchanging vows with the groom, John. Then, Anna said something about loving John and all of his flaws.
At that moment, John’s mother, Judy, got up and started yelling, “You’re not going to say my son has flaws.” This video caused quite a turmoil on the Internet, and people are simply shocked by this scene.
How can a mother ruin her son’s wedding? And, frankly, it makes you wonder if he is just a mama’s boy, not ready for marriage.
All we can say is that, fortunately, you can choose your family when you get old enough. Just find the right person to be your partner. But, of course, try not to make the same mistakes your parents made.

Some in the wedding party clumsily tried to laugh it off, but it seems like Anna was no stranger to Judy’s outbursts because she immediately responded, “You can leave. You’re not going to ruin my wedding.” The mother-in-law keeps going, though multiple family members try to approach her and diffuse the situation.
“I’m not leaving,” Judy yells. “No, that dress you’re wearing, we paid for.”
“Everybody has flaws, and that’s why I love him,” says Anna. “You can leave, Judy. You can get out of my wedding now.”
When more people approach the crazed mother-in-law, she warns that she will have them imprisoned if they touch her. Someone shouts, “Tony, get her out of here; this is not right.”
Ragsdale said in the comments on the video that Judy did not pay for the dress; she just paid $100 for some alterations. Does that give her the right to humiliate people around her? We can say that nothing gives her that right.
Ragsdale also said that the groom didn’t say anything during the fight because he didn’t want to give her more fuel and power. Instead, he spoke with his mother after they resumed and completed the wedding ceremony.
The TikToker also shared some updates on the couple’s married life. They are happy and not in touch with the crazy mother (by her choice). She also doesn’t want to see her grandson.
We think it is for the best… It is hard to imagine a happy married life with a mother-in-law like this always around.
But we do hope she will come to her senses and change her behavior. Missing out on quality time with her grandson because of some grudge is such a poor decision.
