A Viral TikTok Shows Monster Mother-in-Law Trying to Ruin Her Son’s Wedding Ceremony

One wedding ceremony turned into a family blowup when a mother-in-law stood up and tried to stop the vows in the middle of the aisle.

TikToker Sarah Ragsdale shared footage from her sister Anna’s wedding, where the groom’s mother, Judy, interrupted after Anna mentioned loving John, flaws and all. What should have been a quiet, emotional moment quickly turned into a public argument in front of the wedding party and guests.

Some in the wedding party clumsily tried to laugh it off, but it seems like Anna was no stranger to Judy’s outbursts because she immediately responded, “You can leave. You’re not going to ruin my wedding.” The mother-in-law keeps going, though multiple family members try to approach her and diffuse the situation.

“I’m not leaving,” Judy yells. “No, that dress you’re wearing, we paid for.”

“Everybody has flaws, and that’s why I love him,” says Anna. “You can leave, Judy. You can get out of my wedding now.”

When more people approach the crazed mother-in-law, she warns that she will have them imprisoned if they touch her. Someone shouts, “Tony, get her out of here; this is not right.”

Judy did not pay for the dress; she just paid $100 for some alterations. Does that give her the right to humiliate people around her? We can say that nothing gives her that right.

Ragsdale also said that the groom didn’t say anything during the fight because he didn’t want to give her more fuel and power. Instead, he spoke with his mother after they resumed and completed the wedding ceremony.

The TikToker also shared some updates on the couple’s married life. They are happy and not in touch with the crazy mother (by her choice). She also doesn’t want to see her grandson.

We think it is for the best… It is hard to imagine a happy married life with a mother-in-law like this always around.

But we do hope she will come to her senses and change her behavior. Missing out on quality time with her grandson because of some grudge is such a poor decision.
