I said I'd think about it. For context, she's never done anything like this before, and I feel a bit uncomfortable with the responsibility.

Managing someone else's pets feels like a big commitment that I didn't sign up for. I work long hours, have my own routine, and pets of my own.

It would disrupt my day significantly. When she followed up a week later, I told her I couldn't commit to daily visits.
