New Dad Makes His Family Leave After They Showed Up Unannounced
Sometimes, you are just not in the mood for big family gatherings…
Parenting is tough, especially if you are new to it. New parents are confronted with countless tasks that seem enormous and extremely difficult to handle.
For example, even a simple diaper change can be challenging for an inexperienced person. Mixing formula, washing clothes… it’s incredibly hard until you get the hang of it.
These tasks become even more challenging if you don’t have a partner around and have to do everything by yourself. Yes, we know that we’ve written several similar sentences in sequence, but that’s just to emphasize how tough it is (in case you haven’t figured it out yet).
Our OP is in that kind of situation. He found out his ex-girlfriend was pregnant just a few months before the baby’s birth.
After the birth, the ex-girlfriend had an accident, so she is temporarily unable to help. As a result, OP is alone with his child, overwhelmed by a series of new challenges he has to tackle.
He is tired and grumpy – the last thing he needs is large crowds and noise. But his family doesn’t think so.
Even though he made it pretty clear that he was too tired to see or speak to anyone, his family decided to surprise him and showed up on his doorstep.
Of course, that didn’t go well.

Even though he wants to wait before introducing his child to his family, his mom is impatient to see the baby.

It is totally understandable for the grandparents to want to see their grandchild, as well as for OP’s siblings. However, they shouldn’t come all at once, making noise and creating a mess that new parents have to clean up afterward. If you can’t help, don’t make it even harder.
There are customs in some countries that extended family and friends must wait 40 days before seeing a newborn. This also applies to taking the infant outside. Now, many people believe it’s just superstition, but it makes you wonder if that belief is medically grounded.

Good advice. Daddy should listen

OP's actions are understandable. He is tired, deprived of sleep, and his explicit wishes were ignored.
He couldn’t have been clearer about not wanting to see large crowds. So, what made them show up at his doorstep? Who can tell? One thing is sure - it was definitely selfish of them.
