EPCOT Adds a New Port of Entry Medallion Machine With an Unexpected Disney Character Mix
A new souvenir medallion machine is now at EPCOT's Port of Entry with four designs, including 101 Dalmatians, Raya, Up and Beauty and the Beast.
EPCOT souvenir hunters have another stop to add to the list. A new colorful medallion machine has been installed inside Port of Entry in World Showcase, bringing four more collectible designs to the park's growing lineup.
The change affects guests collecting pressed-style souvenir medallions at Walt Disney World. Port of Entry now has its own machine, and it joins the broader shift across EPCOT from older metal-toned medallions to newer colorful sets.
This machine offers four gold-toned medallions, each with a full-color image on one side and an embossed reverse. They cost $10 each, or $35 for the full set.
The characters and films represented are an unusual mix. One medallion features 101 Dalmatians, with an EPCOT wordmark and a Spaceship Earth pattern on the back. Another spotlights Raya, paired with a Disney Princesses wordmark on the reverse. A Beauty and the Beast design includes the movie title and silhouettes of Mrs. Potts and Chip on the opposite side. The fourth medallion is themed to Up, showing Carl's house with a colorful balloon border, plus the EPCOT wordmark and Spaceship Earth texture on the back.
The variety in that lineup suggests the selections at this location could change regularly.
For collectors trying to track down all of EPCOT's updated medallions, Port of Entry is only one stop. New machines have already appeared in Creations Shop, around World Showcase and in other parts of the park, turning the hunt for the latest designs into a park-wide search.
For guests visiting now, the main update is simple: Port of Entry has joined EPCOT's expanding medallion map, with four new designs available immediately.
