She goes on to explain the situation of how she tried to get compensation for her misdelivered order, but DoorDash quickly shut it down, telling her that she'd received refunds twice prior. According to her, these refunds were for $1 and $4.

She was understandably upset about this because not only did she not receive her food, but she also didn't get any sort of refund or compensation for the messed-up delivery. She explains that even in the photo of her order, the address is clearly wrong.

Here is more of what she had to say:

“They said no because they’ve compensated me in the past, so I am no longer entitled to extra compensation,” she claims.

“I’m just trying to figure out the business model around ‘if we don’t give you the things you paid for enough times, we just don’t have to give you a refund for the things you don’t have.’ Is that legal?”

After hearing this story and all of the other horror stories in the comments, I think it's safe to say that sometimes it might just be better to go out and get the food if you can. DoorDash and other companies need to do much better when it comes to customer compensation and customer service.

Nobody likes paying for a problem.
