I (28M) work in a small office with Sarah (30F), who I've known for about a year. Sarah always 'forgets' her lunch and asks to share mine.

At first, I didn't mind occasionally sharing, but it became a daily occurrence. I'm on a tight budget and bring lunch to save money.

One day, I politely told Sarah I couldn't share that day because I had a limited portion. She seemed understanding.

The next day, Sarah asked again, and I had a leftover sandwich. She saw it, hinted, and I guessed she wanted it.

I said it was my last piece, but she kept hinting. I felt uncomfortable and said no.

She got upset, saying that I'm selfish and she depends on others for food. I tried to explain my financial situation, but she stormed off.
