Parenting has changed a lot, and these old photos make that impossible to ignore. What once looked normal now feels shocking, funny, or downright unsafe, especially when you see how casually kids were included in situations we would never allow today.
From cars and bikes to animals and smoking, the images in this collection show just how much child safety standards have shifted over time. Some are charming in a retro way, but others are hard to look at without wincing.
Either way, the contrast is unforgettable.
