There are many ways a person can mess up a relationship. We often make a lot of excuses, such as:

1.       I am not ready for commitment

2.       I am too young

3.       I am too old

4.       It’s too soon for a relationship

5.       It’s too late for a relationship

6.       I need to live a little

7.       I need to have casual sex

8.       I don’t need sex

9.       I need to commit to my career

10.   I don’t want a career and to provide for a family

We make so many excuses and think that the other person will wait for us to figure out what we want to do, how we want to do it, when we want to do it, and which way we want to do it… you can see the pattern.
