The whole pandemic situation is already depressing enough; why not laugh it off instead with these?
In 2020, the world came to a standstill a few months after the coronavirus was detected in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. People all across the globe were engulfed in panic and anxiety about what was to come. When the entire world seemingly went into quarantine, it marked the beginning of dark times that either led people into a downward spiral or prompted them to reflect and improve themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally.
But let's face it: many people initially experienced the former—the stress, anxiety, fear, and, for some, the loss of loved ones became unbearable, especially during the first few months of quarantine. It was bad enough being locked down, but it was even more distressing to witness thousands of people dying worldwide due to a malevolent virus that ensured we welcomed the next decade with a bang.
That being said, people found numerous ways to cope with the negative emotions they were experiencing and to relieve the stress from the daily news. Some decided to work out, others took on freelance work, some rekindled their love for hobbies, and many chose to hone their craft and share it with the world online.
