Pastor Gets Blasted After Posting A Misogynistic Tweet That Sent People Raging, Here Are The Most Savage Replies
The sheer audacity.
It's really unfortunate that, up until the present time, women still have to deal with misogyny and sexist remarks from people who don't even have the right to tell them so. Most of the time, these comments come from men who waste their time making fun of women for doing things, no matter what it is.
Now that we are in the technological era, where we use social media to connect with our friends and acquaintances, many women have also found joy in sharing their life journeys and milestones online, and they have discovered a newfound level of confidence. They have also found comfort and happiness in wearing clothes that make them feel sexy and attractive, and while they have no problem flaunting it for others to see, some men are just... well, really bothered by it for some reason.
And by "some men," that includes Brian Sauvé, a Christian pastor at Refuge Church located in Ogden, Utah. He sparked outrage online because of his tweet stating that women shouldn't post pictures of themselves wearing certain clothes on social media.
In the tweet, he addresses the ladies with, "There is no reason whatsoever for you to post pictures of yourself in low-cut shirts, bikinis, bras, and underwear, or anything similar—ever." He even included that their weight loss journeys and documentation of their births or pregnancies shouldn't be shared online.
Well, you guessed it, this didn't sit well with a lot of people in the Twitterverse. They even started a trend called "Dear Brian," where they responded with the funniest and wittiest replies to the pastor's tweet.

What's tragic is that there are still many more like Brian here; good thing there are enough sensible people in the world to tear apart their ridiculous views online! Let's just hope that they keep their mouths shut, but if not, we can always count on social media to let people decide if the things they say are acceptable or not.
