30 People Share Facts They Found Out Were False Way Too Late In Life
"I used to think that eating cold turkey somehow helped people quit smoking."

We all love good stories, right? Especially ones that our parents told us when we were children.
No one can deny that they can be extremely funny. Truth, however, might have been sacrificed for the greater good, and it is justified.
When children are young and misbehave, parents frequently tell little white lies to get them to do what they say. Alternatively, some parents have a sick sense of humor and think it's amusing that their children believe everything they say since they haven't developed critical thinking skills.
Children are usually skilled at figuring out that anything their parents said to them was not necessarily true, but because this information does not originate from the parents, their children may continue to believe the story they were told.
It happens more frequently than you might believe, and as children, we have our own knowledge of things that are not real yet appear rational to a youngster. In response to Johnnyboi1322's question, "What false fact did you believe in for way too long?" people revealed some of their absurd opinions.
We have selected 30 of the best replies, and we know you will love them. You might even recognize yourself in some of them.
