Working in retail doesn't sound fun at all.
Working in retail requires a lot of patience and self-restraint; you will interact with the oddest people while on the job, and nothing could ever prepare you for the experiences you end up going through. The more you work in retail, the more you lose faith in humanity because you will encounter every kind of person there is.
Each person has specific issues they are dealing with, and once they step into a retail store, whatever employee is in their way will also become part of those issues. You can never win because, as they say, the customer is always right (even though that's far from the truth).
If people were respectful and treated one another with decency, all of these problems would have disappeared a long time ago. Unfortunately, we don't live in a perfect world, and people will continue to be rude to each other until the end of time.

Retail workers have to deal with a lot of BS daily; some people think it's okay to be rude to them and make things unnecessarily complicated. It doesn't take much to be a decent person and treat others with dignity and respect, but some people still choose to be rude, and there's nothing any of us can do about it.
