Digital Artist Uses AI To Create Real-Life Photos Of Famous Cartoon Characters, And Here Are 20 Of The Best Photos

We all love cartoons, no matter what some of us claim. While watching our favorite characters on screen, we often wish they were real and that we could hang out with them.

What would they look like if they were real? What if, as if by magic, they became real, flesh and blood?

Fortunately, a digital artist from Botucatu, Brazil, has finally answered this question. Hidreley Diao used artificial intelligence to bring them into our world, and the results are amazing.

He says, “It is impossible not to wonder what they would look like in real life. When we watch some animations, it is natural to accept the cartoonish proportions of the characters without any problems; after all, we are quite used to this type of trait.

I wanted to try something out myself, so I dove into the world of AI. This time, I challenged myself to create images based on the theme of cartoon characters.

For this project, I used Photoshop and three mobile applications: FaceApp, Gradiente, and Remini.” We have chosen over 20 of his best pieces, and we know you are going to love them as much as we did.

I really liked how Moe Szyslak, Ned Flanders, and Milhouse Van Houten turned out because initially, I thought that the Simpsons' drawing style would be very hard to emulate in 'real life' terms, but they are actually very easy to recognize.”
