Man Gets Disrespected At A Job Interview, So He Pretends He Is Accepting The Job Just So He Could Not Show On Monday

This is the type of petty I aspire to be.

Going out and seeking work can be a stressful process, especially if it's one of your first paid positions. The entire process, from discovering job listings that appeal to you to drafting and sending out your résumé to going through job interviews, is often not something most people would describe as "pleasant."

Of course, such experiences differ, but for most people, they are at least a bit stressful, which is why a smooth hiring process from the company's perspective is critical. Some firms, on the other hand, don't care about any of it, and as a result, the job search might be even more stressful for some.

It was precisely that in the case of Reddit user u/LazyMLouie. What happened to him was awful.

The user had enrolled in a trade school to become an electrical technician. He discovered a job offer that was too wonderful to pass up through career services.

But the hiring manager was so inconsiderate and dishonest (and so proud of it) that it made our OP want to fight back. His practice of deliberately making job applicants wait for hours and underpaying them simply demanded payback.

And he did. Scroll down to find out how he did it.

Job interviews can be nerve-wracking, especially if things don't go as planned.

Getting a job can be difficult in some respects, no matter what position you're applying for. As a result, the job interview stage is usually predictable in the sense that you can plan ahead of time.

Of course, there will be some surprises, but nothing you can't anticipate. Nobody is prepared until they are forced to face something they are not ready for.

When the original poster (OP) was told that the manager is often late, it's no surprise that he began to suspect something was wrong. However, given that the company was offering more than three times the minimum hourly wage listed in the ad, it's not surprising that OP remained hopeful while waiting.

Apparently, the job was not worth the wait.
