Reach For The Stars - Vodka Infused With Real Meteorite

Have you ever wondered what the cosmos tastes like? Thanks to Shooting Star Vodka, you no longer have to imagine.

This new $200 vodka isn’t just your typical premium drink; it includes a genuine meteorite, making each sip a journey through the stars. Introduced by Pegasus Distillerie in the scenic Burgundy region of France, this vodka promises an experience as profound as the universe itself.

In a galaxy not so far away, specifically in France's picturesque Burgundy, a new vodka has launched that promises to elevate your drinking experience to celestial heights. Shooting Star Vodka, crafted by the innovative Pegasus Distillerie, is the first vodka of its kind to be infused with an actual meteorite, offering a taste that’s literally out of this world.

The distillery, which started its journey in 2021, chose to blend modern distilling techniques with cosmic wonder. The idea, according to founder and CEO Maxime Girardin, was to capture the essence of the stars. "Incorporating a meteorite was the closest we could get to bottling the celestial," Girardin shared with excitement.

The process behind Shooting Star Vodka is as intricate as it is fascinating. It begins with organic wheat and select botanicals sourced from local French farms.

These ingredients are distilled using the iStill technology, one of the most advanced distilling systems today. The distillation is slowly perfected over a month with pure spring water from beneath the distillery, ensuring a smooth finish.

But the real magic happens post-distillation. The vodka is aged for over a year in terracotta jars, with a piece of meteorite suspended in the center.

As the meteorite partially dissolves, it infuses the vodka with chondrite, a mineral unique to these space rocks. This not only adds a subtle mineral flavor but also enhances the vodka's smoothness, allowing the taste to linger longer on the palate.

The result is a spirit with a smooth, round mouthfeel and a unique sweet note that perfectly complements its minerality. With only 4,806 bottles produced, priced between $180 to $200, this limited edition vodka is a collector’s dream.

So, if you’re eager to taste the stars, make sure to grab a bottle quickly. After all, how often do you get to drink a piece of the universe?
