The Last Hidden Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Secret Was in a Menu All Along

A long-missed Star Wars Jedi: Survivor easter egg has finally been found, revealing a hidden Oggdo Bogdo gag in Cal's skill tree menu.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor players finally have an answer to one of the game's longest-running mysteries. A hidden easter egg that stayed undiscovered for more than three years has now been triggered, and the solution turned out to be tucked inside a menu the community had been told to inspect.

What changed

The final known undiscovered easter egg in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been found.

Respawn developer Jordan DeVries had previously challenged players to track it down, sharing only that it was tied to the game's UI and that something specific had to be done in one of the menus to make it appear. DeVries later confirmed that nobody had uncovered it yet. Hours after that update, Twitter user towerbunga posted the solution.

For players who have been combing through Survivor's secrets since launch, that means the hunt appears to be over.

How players trigger it

The hidden sequence appears in Cal Kestis' skill tree while meditating. From there, players need to enter the Konami code.

Doing that causes a huge hologram, or ghostlike image, of Oggdo Bogdo to appear and eat the destroyed planet visible in the background. The reveal is especially notable because the code used to unlock it is one of gaming's most recognizable inputs, even though the easter egg still went unnoticed for years.

The setup also explains why players missed it for so long. The clue pointed to the interface rather than a combat encounter, explorable area, or story beat, and the trigger required a very specific action inside a menu.

Who it affects, and when

This matters mostly to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor players who enjoy finding references, hidden jokes, and completionist-level secrets. Survivor already packed in callbacks and extra touches, including returning ponchos for Cal and appearances from original trilogy characters, so this missing piece had become a small but persistent mystery for the community.

The discovery takes effect immediately in the sense that players can now go reproduce it themselves using the newly shared method. After more than three years of the easter egg sitting unfound, the last big question mark around Survivor's hidden gags now has a clear answer.
