Welcome back to another Reddit post today that we'll be looking at from the AITA thread. This thread is so interesting to look into, and that's why we always like to cover these stories.

Getting unbiased and outside opinions on someone's situation is sometimes pretty fun if they're willing to post their situation online. With all this being said, today's post that we are looking at was submitted by a woman who is fed up with how her husband's family and sister treat him.

She states that they always ask him for money, and it seems to be a continuing thing, and she is trying to break the cycle. Her solution was to say that she would stop paying for her husband if he kept helping out his family.

OP explains some background on her and her husband, plus some info on their kids and financial situations.

She explains that her husband actually pays for everything for his family and this is where the issue lies. He's being taken advantage of.

This is when everything went down and her husband's sister was the center of the issue this time.

She ended up telling her husband that she wouldn't pay for his tickets ever again if he decided to switch seats with his sister.

Then OP gave us an edit which clarified some things that people mentioned in the comment section.

This is the top liked comment which states that OP is NTA and that her husband is a pushover. OP replied to this comment as well saying that this is a huge reason she loves him though.

It's unfortunate because he's being taken advantage of and he needs to set boundaries with them as soon as possible. It's only going to get worse if he doesn't stop them now.

Then this comment got a lot of love too, but we have to agree because the family sounds extremely greedy.

It's not financial abuse at all and this is why OP decided to tell us all of the background information at first.

This isn't a bad idea at all because he may not even see what his family is doing to him and he definitely needs to have his eyes opened.

OP definitely got a lot of comments and a lot of advice on her post. It seems that everyone thinks OP is NTA, and they are in agreement with what should happen with her husband.

We hope that he puts up boundaries with his family so that his own family won't suffer due to financial struggles.
