Teacher Shares Texts From Students Who Took Fake Babies Home for the Weekend
Remember that assignment meant to simulate parenting? Schools are still giving robot babies to students, and teachers cannot handle the stressed texts they are receiving.
Some school assignments are memorable for all the wrong reasons, but this one gave students plenty to laugh about. At Chippewa Secondary School in Ontario, Canada, teens took home robotic babies for the weekend and quickly found themselves texting their teacher with confused, funny, and very relatable updates.
The fake babies were part of a parenting-style assignment that had students dealing with nonstop crying, awkward timing, and a few moments of pure panic. The screenshots their teacher shared show just how chaotic the weekend got, and why this project left such a big impression.
Here are the texts that had everyone talking.

That baby was apparently a lot to handle.

Okay, this might be valid.

Very realistic, lol.

Honestly, this assignment sounds exhausting in the best possible way.
After the “surprise baby shower” mishap, see if she truly ruined her friend’s announcement, or if it was just bad timing.
