These Hysterical Tweets Have Gone Totally Viral This Holiday Season
2019 was a good year for family festivities.
In the U.S., Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. It's a significant occasion, a federal holiday during which most of the country shuts down. We eat a ton of food (some of it questionable), and while there is a lot of joy, laughter, and a sense of "thankfulness," there's also always a lot of drama. Now, more than ever, people are sharing their "drama" with the world, courtesy of Twitter.
You might think that's terrible, but really, it may not be so bad. The social media phenomenon has a silver lining: all of us with difficult family members and embarrassing Thanksgiving moments feel a little less alone knowing that other people deal with this nonsense, too.
