Tweets That Perfectly Sum Up The Chaotic Energy And Drama On Netflix's "The Ultimatum"
When you can't help but pause every now and then, that's when you know it's the real deal.
Can an ultimatum save a relationship or put an end to it? The answer to that question varies depending on each specific case, but most of the time, putting someone in that situation will end up pushing them away and ending the whole relationship.
The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On is Netflix's latest fever dream/nightmare of a dating show. In eight episodes, the show takes viewers through a variety of emotions. You will find yourself pausing the show at random times while watching because it can sometimes become too overwhelming.
The first episodes of the show dropped on April 6, and the finale was added later on April 13. The show follows six longtime couples who are all struggling with the same issue: one partner is ready to get married, but the other isn't.
The show makes couples split up and pair with other cast members for a few weeks. After this period, they return to the person they came to the show with for the same amount of time. At the very end, each person chooses to either accept all terms of the ultimatum, couple up with the new partner they've met on the show, or leave alone.

The whole concept of the show is kind of weird. If someone has commitment issues, the worst thing you could ever do is put them in an environment where they can date other people without it being considered cheating. After all, this is reality TV, and it doesn't always have to make sense.
