Artist Reimagines Iconic Disney Movies in the Tim Burton Style
I'm at a loss for words.
LA artist Andrew Tarusov took two instantly recognizable worlds and mashed them together, Disney and Tim Burton. The result is a series of familiar characters reimagined with Burton's gothic edge, turning bright childhood favorites into something a little stranger and a lot more eerie.
Tarusov's artwork keeps the original magic of the Disney films while giving each scene a darker, more whimsical twist. From the costumes to the expressions, every detail leans into Burton's signature style.
The transformations are surprisingly convincing, and a few of them may stick with you longer than the originals.

He really nailed the Burton atmosphere here.

Some of these feel like they came straight out of a darker fairy tale.

And that final image leaves the whole series on an eerie note.
