Walt Disney World quietly added two Christmas countdown calendars, and they target very different Disney fans
Two new Disney holiday countdown calendars are now at Walt Disney World and online, with Toy Story and Disney Princess themes.
Holiday countdown merchandise has started showing up around Walt Disney World, and this time the choices split cleanly between Pixar playfulness and storybook sparkle. Guests can now pick from a Toy Story 12-day set or a Disney Princess Once Upon a Story 24-day calendar, with both also listed online at Disney Store.
Two new countdown calendars just arrived
The first new option is a Toy Story 12-Day Countdown Calendar priced at $29.99. Its display box centers on a Space Crane game machine, surrounded by Toy Story characters dressed for Christmas. Woody appears in a nutcracker-style outfit, Buzz Lightyear wears a Santa hat and beard, and three Little Green Aliens are styled like elves. The crane game itself is decorated with holiday lights and a sheriff star.
Inside, the set includes rubbery seasonal versions of familiar characters including Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and Bullseye. Some of the holiday twists go further. Hamm is presented as a reindeer, Forky is turned into a snowman, and three Aliens share a candy cane. Ducky and Bunny are shown inside Santa's sack. The calendar also comes with extra pieces, including a Pixar Ball topped with a blue bow.
The second release is the Disney Princess Once Upon a Story 24-Day Countdown Calendar, priced at $49.99. The package is designed like a gingerbread castle, with white icing details that resemble icicles and pink peppermint accents. Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel, Ariel, and Jasmine appear on the front, while the sides are decorated as wintry trees with pink, white, and blue ornaments.
That princess calendar includes micro figures of Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel, Ariel, Jasmine, Flynn Rider, and additional characters. Animal companions are part of the set too, including Abu and Max, along with holiday accessories and gift pieces.
Where Disney shoppers can find them now
The Disney Princess calendar was found at Discovery Trading Company and Riverside Depot, both at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The Toy Story calendar was available at Disney's Days of Christmas in Disney Springs.
For shoppers who are not visiting those stores, both countdown calendars can also be purchased online through Disney Store.
What changed is simple: these two Christmas countdown sets are now available to Walt Disney World shoppers, giving holiday merchandise collectors, Toy Story fans, and Disney Princess fans a new choice between a shorter 12-day countdown and a full 24-day one.
