Artists On Twitter Draw Incredible Versions Of T. Rex In A "Prove You Won’t Be Replaced By AI" Challenge
Who knew a T. rex could take on so many forms?
A simple half-finished T. rex prompt on Twitter turned into a full-on creative riot, and the results are way too funny to ignore. Artists took the challenge personally, not because they hate dinosaurs, but because the prompt basically dared them to “prove you won’t be replaced by AI.”
So instead of one predictable redo, we got a whole zoo of chaos: a T. rex in skinny jeans, one that looks like it’s about to become someone’s newest tattoo, and a few that go full aliens, cursed art, and dinosaur prog rock album cover energy. Even the Zoom dad-bodaurus joke made the rounds. The complicated part is, everyone’s playing two games at once, showing off their talent while also trying to figure out how much of the magic comes from the prompt itself.
And somehow, the internet managed to make a dinosaur feel like a debate.

That first “clever disguise” T. rex set the tone, like okay, we’re not just drawing, we’re trolling AI on purpose.
Then the “No body necessary” and “Hot potato?” entries hit, and suddenly the challenge felt like a dare between artists and the prompt.
When someone posted “Every dad in the background of a Zoom meeting,” people laughed, then immediately started side-eyeing whether the original prompt was even followed.
By the time “Take that, AI” and “T. rex stands for Trogdor” showed up, the whole thread turned into a victory lap made of spikes, watercolor, and chaos.

The T. rex didn’t just evolve, it turned into a whole argument.
