Tree of Life Awakenings return to Disney's Animal Kingdom with nightly rotating shows
Tree of Life Awakenings are back at Disney's Animal Kingdom, running nightly from 6:10 p.m. to 8 p.m. with three rotating shows.
Disney's nighttime Tree of Life spectacle is back at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Guests in the park after dark can once again watch the seasonal Awakenings projections each night, with multiple versions cycling through the evening.
The change is already in effect for Animal Kingdom visitors. The Tree of Life now lights up every night from 6:10 p.m. to 8 p.m., and a show plays about every 10 minutes, making it easier for guests to catch one without planning around a single performance time.
In the clip below, one of the returning versions can be seen back on the park's centerpiece.

What guests can expect
There are three different Tree of Life Awakenings in the nightly lineup. The projection and lighting sequences draw on Disney stories including The Lion King, Finding Nemo, The Jungle Book and Bambi, along with additional nature-inspired imagery.
One of the returning segments is themed to The Lion King. That version combines animated moments from the film with African nature motifs and is accompanied by an instrumental medley built from the movie's score.
For guests visiting Animal Kingdom during the current seasonal run, the return means the park's icon is once again part of the nighttime experience before the evening ends.
