Kornelija Slunjski turned a simple dating opinion into a full-blown internet debate after saying coffee and walks are not acceptable first-date options. The makeup artist and influencer said she expects more effort, and her blunt TikTok quickly drew plenty of reactions. She also said this is normal where she is from in Croatia, and even pointed to her lifestyle in a private plane video.

Many TikTokers objected, saying she is just “high maintenance,” but later, she distributed follow-up videos addressing the backlash. Slunjski stated that in Croatia, where she is from, this is how dating works. She also released another video, filmed in a private plane, where she says she is accustomed to such a lifestyle.

She also mentioned that if a man tells her she’s high maintenance, it simply proves that they aren’t a match. She urged women not to “lower your standards for a man who cannot rise to them.”
