Fast forward to this week, when The Times journalist Ed Potton brought up the topic during an interview with Goggins. When Potton mentioned the apparent Instagram unfollowing and the feud rumors, Goggins immediately shut it down.

“I’m not gonna have that conversation,” he said flatly.

His team backed him up. His U.S. publicist chimed in with, “We’re not going there, thank you,” and his British rep followed with a firm, “Next question.”

Potton tried to redirect the interview toward Goggins’ latest project, The Uninvited, but circled back to Wood again later. At that point, the mood reportedly shifted for good. One of Goggins’ reps stepped in again: “Shall we talk about The Uninvited a bit more?”

The interview was abruptly cut short.

According to Potton, Goggins accused him of asking “thinly veiled” questions and suggested he wasn’t actually interested in the film. Goggins reportedly added, “There is no conversation to be had about that. Sharing politics on social media – it’s in a vacuum.”

When Potton tried one more time, things went completely off the rails. “What the f**k, Ed! Come on, buddy. Wow,” Goggins allegedly snapped.

That was the final straw. The interview was abruptly cut short.
