The Early Internet Phase Was Certainly Full Of Weird Wonders, And Here Are 24 Things That Will Take You Down That Memory Lane
The early Internet phase is certainly one of the most mind-boggling eras there is, and for good reason.
Let's face it: we all had our cringe-worthy and embarrassing phases, and the Internet world was no exception. The early Internet era was certainly full of wonders, and being weird back then was, well, kind of cool.
We often forget how different technology was at that time, and we were still taking the first steps toward what would become the most meme-worthy milestone in the course of history. Photos and Facebook statuses were a lot more shameless in those earlier days, and there was not a single time you would scroll through your browser without seeing someone with that horrible emo haircut (we know you know).
Sometimes, we even pull out some throwback trends and bask in the aesthetic known as Y2K, pretending we are still living in that era. Well, who could blame us? The 2000s were certainly one of the most iconic periods, producing a lot of pop culture references that are still trending today!
Back then, maximalism was a thing, which explains a lot of the weird things we dig out of posts from the 2000s.
Check out these aspects of the early Internet world that will surely give you a nostalgic trip down memory lane!
