Woman Snaps At Her Husband In Front of His Family After He Makes An Insensitive And Humiliating Joke About Her Experience In The Delivery Room
He was lucky she didn’t take his head off.
Researchers suggest that about one-third of women find giving birth traumatic. It is not just about the pain, even though experts agree that it is one of the strongest pains known to human beings.
The whole experience is mentally traumatic, with fear of the unknown and wondering if the baby will be alright… In circumstances like these, human beings can often lose control of their actions. That’s why women need support and someone who will be there for them.
This support should extend to the period after the child’s birth since new moms are especially sensitive. Their bodies and minds undergo extreme changes in just nine months.
Of course, we are not saying that husbands should be kind and considerate only during pregnancy and after birth… On the contrary, they should act like that all the time.
Sadly, some husbands don’t. Not even during delivery and after the birth.
One Reddit user shared her experience. She had an “accident” before she gave birth, and now her husband is constantly making jokes about it.
So, she snapped. She yelled at him in front of his family, and now he believes she embarrassed him. As if the jokes he made weren’t embarrassing for her…
Yes, it is clear that he is the victim here.

The medical team was professional, probably because they have seen this happen thousands of times before. But the husband laughed.

It’s simply unbelievable that a husband can be so insensitive, poorly informed, and a plain idiot. What happened to OP is very common. In Europe, women going into the delivery room undergo a procedure with an enema to prevent these things from happening.
Since it is not common in the US, it is entirely natural for these things to happen. We are only sorry she didn’t do it on her husband’s head because he seems like he deserves it. What an insensitive idiot.
Instead of being there for his wife, he reminds her of something embarrassing and even makes jokes about it, humiliating her even more. Why does he do that?
We hope he will come to his senses and start helping OP with the baby. That would leave him less time to come up with such bad jokes.
